Boston College nearly upset Syracuse on Monday night before eventually falling 69-59. The Eagles led for a portion of the 2nd half, but the Orange were ultimately too much to handle. Trevor Cooney led Syracuse with 21 points, while Jerami Grant added 16 points and 8 rebounds. Lonnie Jackson had 18 points for BC in the loss.
